Welcome to Faculty Development Programme

Blockchain is an emerging platform for developing decentralized applications and data storage, over and beyond its role as a platform for cryptocurrencies. Blockchain is a growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked using cryptography to keep exchanges secure. Blockchain provides a decentralized database, or “digital ledger”, of transactions that everyone on the network can see. This network is essentially a chain of computers that must all approve an exchange before it can be verified and recorded.

Our Objectives

To disseminate the knowledge of blockchain technology among experts from various domains

To impart knowledge about the basic security concepts

To understand various methodologies, techniques, and tools related to Blockchain Technology

To build and deploy blockchain applications

To integrate ideas from various domains and implement them using blockchain technology in different perspectives

Who Should Attend

Faculty member working in AICTE approved Institutions and Industry Personnel.

Registration Fee

No fees will be charged from Faculties working in AICTE approved institutions.
For industry persons – ₹ 4760(including GST and CESS)

Resource Persons

The sessions will be handled by the experts on the subject from Industry and other institutions of repute.

Selection Process

A limited number of seats (50) will be there on first-cum- first serve basis and selected candidates will be intimated through email only.

School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology is situated in the main Campus near Thrikkakara.

The campus is
20 Km away from Cochin International Airport
9 Km from Aluva Railway Station
12 Km from Ernakulam Junction (South) Railway Station
9 Km from Ernakulam Town (North) Railway Station.
The School of Engineering is 1 Km away from South Kalamassery, which is in Salem - Kochi Highway (NH -544) and is accessible by bus anytime.Also, Aluva, Ernakulam Town (North) Railway Station, Ernakulam Junction (South) Railway Station are connected with Cochin University by Kochi Metro also.

General Information

Attendances for sessions are compulsory for awarding the participation certificate.

Accommodation and travelling expenses are to be borne by the participants. For the details of nearby accommodation facilities,Click on Accomodation tab in navigation bar.

The participant will not be paid any TA/DA. Lunch, tea and snacks will be provided for the participants during the days of the workshop.
