The Division of Electronics Engineering of School of Engineering was conceived with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The division offers B-Tech, M-Tech and PhD programme in Electronics Engineering. The division has necessary strengths to enable the students to imbibe, incubate and innovate and to become entrepreneurs to serve the community. State-of-the-art facilities are provided by the division to empower students to meet with the challenges in cutting edge areas. The Faculty strive hard to educate students as Next- Generation - Engineers capable of becoming leaders in industry, government and academia. The vibrant placement cell helps our students to get selected into leading industries through campus placement. Many opt for higher studies in world renowned institutes both in India and abroad.
Division of Electronics Engineering was started as a part of SOE during 1995, to offer B.Tech Degree program in Electronics and Communication with an intake of 60 students . Currently the division is offering B.Tech program with an annual intake of 90 students and PhD program with 11 PhD supervisors in lead areas. Full- time M-Tech program was started in the year 2013 with an intake of 17 students. Our Alumni has made their place in institutions of national and global recognition like ISRO,SAIL, BSNL,Yahoo!, Ericsson,Heinz, Nokia, Synopsys,CISCO,EY etc. to name a few.

Dr Babita Roslind Jose, Professor - School of Engineering (SOE), and Dr. Jos Prakash A V., Former PhD Scholar, SOE, CUSAT, have been granted with Indian Patent for the development of a band-pass differential quantizer based error feedback modulator (BP- DQEFM) based circuit. The patent is shared by Dr. Jimson Mathew, Associate Professor, IIT Patna. The invention was facilitated by the IPR facilitation cell at Inter University Centre for IPR Studies (IUCIPRS), CUSAT.
